Sports Court Building Services

Backyard Sports Courts

A backyard court starts with an on-site evaluation of your soil, slope, and available footprint. The scope covers sub-base compaction, drainage provision, and acrylic color coating so the finished surface performs year-round.

Basketball Court Installation

A basketball court needs a 1-percent cross-slope for drainage and a properly anchored post sleeve set in concrete before the surface goes down. The scope covers every stage from sub-base compaction through acrylic coating and regulation three-point line marking.

Commercial HOA & School Courts

Commercial and community court projects involve permit coordination, HOA architectural review packets, and phased construction schedules. We manage the documentation trail so boards and property managers have a clear record at every stage.

Court Design & Site Preparation

Site preparation sets every performance outcome for the finished court. We arrange an on-site evaluation covering soil type, existing grade, and drainage flow, then produce a written scope that specifies sub-base depth, compaction standard, and surface slope before any excavation is priced.

Court Lighting & Fencing

Lighting and fencing are scoped alongside the court build, not added as afterthoughts. The scope covers light poles set in concrete footings, wiring to code, and fencing at the setback distances required by Chesterfield, Henrico, or Goochland county rules.

Court Resurfacing, Repairs & Maintenance

Surface cracks, drainage failures, and faded line marking each point to different underlying causes. We arrange an on-site evaluation to distinguish cosmetic wear from sub-base movement, then produce an itemised written estimate for the correct repair scope, patch, acrylic recoat, or full reconstruction.

Multi-Sport Court Installation

A multi-sport layout combines court dimensions and line sets for two or more sports on a single poured surface. The line overlay is planned during the design phase so colors are distinct, drainage slope is consistent, and no sport’s boundaries are obscured by another’s.

Pickleball Court Installation

A pickleball court requires a precisely level playing surface within a 1-percent drainage slope and kitchen lines set at exactly 7 feet from the net. The scope covers sub-base compaction, concrete or asphalt pour, acrylic color coating, and regulation line marking as a complete package.

Tennis Court Installation

A tennis court spans 78 by 36 feet and demands a sub-base engineered for Richmond’s clay soil and freeze-thaw cycles. The scope covers excavation, sub-base compaction, concrete or asphalt pour, acrylic coating, and regulation line marking under a single itemized written estimate.

Tennis-to-Pickleball Conversions

A standard tennis court fits up to four pickleball courts side by side. Conversion involves an honest surface assessment, crack repair if needed, new acrylic colour coating, pickleball net post sleeves set in concrete, and regulation line marking, all scoped from an on-site evaluation of the existing slab.
